Studio Art: Graphic Design, BFA


The Bachelor of Fine Arts in Studio Art with a concentration in Graphic Design is a professional degree intended to prepare art students for specialized careers in the field of graphic design.  Students will demonstrate professional solutions to print and digital media graphic design problems through aesthetically successful graphic design projects that communicate effectively. They will produce a professional print and digital media portfolio of graphic designs for use in seeking employment or further education that present a clear understanding of the student’s creative and technical skills relevant to the field of graphic design. 

Admission to the Graphic Design Program

Students seeking admission to this program must present a portfolio, be interviewed by a member of the Keystone College Division of Fine Arts, and have a high school art teacher’s recommendation. Transfer students must present a portfolio, be interviewed by a member of the Keystone College Division of Fine Arts and have obtained a 3.00 cumulative grade point average in studio art courses prior to formal admission to the program.
