Landscape Architecture



Landscape architects design environments such as public parks, gardens, residential areas, shopping centers and college campuses. They plan these areas not only to be functional but also to be beautiful and harmonious with the natural environment. The Landscape Architecture program emphasizes the importance of combining both art and science.

Today's landscape architects diverse portfolio includes projects in wetland delineation and design, landscaping, greenway assessment, riparian restoration, and recreation and park design.
