Keystone graduates of the Allied Health Program have been hired by Allied Services, CMC Hopsital, Gentex, Moses Taylor Hospital, St. Joseph's Center, and Tyler Memorial Hospital.

Mechanical and technological aptitude is important as is the desire to help people by providing respectful, competent, and compassionate care. Medical Imaging technologists are part of the healthcare team and are required to interact with patients, families, physicians, and other medical personnel. Physical stamina is important because technologists are on their feet for long periods of time and may be required to help lift persons with disabilities.

Careers in this field are highly paid and highly sought after. Members of these professions typically work in hospitals, imaging centers, clinics, doctor's offices, mobile imaging companies, education, research, or enjoy careers in technical sales and support of medical instrumentation and supplies.

Curricula at many transfer institutions not only recommend, but also require documented experience in a  particular field of study. The student's advisor and/or the Career Development Center at Keystone College will assist in securing this co-op experience.
