Professional foresters will work with wood, water, wildlife, recreation, and people. There are a variety of opportunities available to those with the skills and education necessary to become a professional forester. Many graduates pursue careers as foresters, park rangers, conservation biologists, scientists, and technicians. Others work for private companies, government agencies or consulting firms.

What can I do with a Forestry degree?

"Promise of Success" - Students who successfully complete all requirements in the two year program of Environmental Studies, Forestry/Resource Management or Landscape Architecture degree programs will have guaranteed acceptance at State University of New York-Syracuse to obtain a bachelor's degree. Graduates have enrolled in other degree programs as well, including the University of Maine - Forestry, Wildlife Ecology.

Keystone College graduates have secure positions with the following companies/agencies: Bureau of State Parks, Ducks Unlimited, Earhtbox, Inc., Garden Path, Inc., New Jersey State Parks, PA American Water Company, PA Department of Conservation and Natural Resources (DCNR), Pennsylvania Game Commission, Quantum Analytical & Environmental Laboratories, Sullivan County Conservation District, USDA Forest Service, US Fish and Wildlife Service, Validation Technologies, Inc., YSM Landscape Architects, pollution abatement companies, and consultation firms.
