Accelerated Certification Programs
Accelerated Certification Programs in Education are designed for students who have previously completed a bachelor's degree, as well as any other program requirements, prior to enrolling in the program of study. Students are only considered for enrollment into one of the Accelerated Certification Programs on an individual basis. To discuss your potential for enrollment into one of these programs, please contact the Education Department in the School of Professional Studies.
These certification programs are available in several areas of study and prepare the student for occupation of teacher.
Students requesting a certificate from Keystone College must successfully complete a minimum of 30 credits at the Institution to be provided with a certificate. If an individual seeking accelerated certification only needs 30 credits to meet PDE certification requirements, the program can be completed in 12 months, attending full-time. Generally, individuals pursuing accelerated certification work full-time and complete the program on a part-time basis, which takes between 18 and 24 months.
