Invitational Art Exhibition: America Unsettled: Small Sculptures and Drawings by Drake Gomez Associate Professor of Art Drake Gomez had a one-person exhibition of his recent drawings and constructions at the Art Gallery, University of Pittsburgh - Bradford Campus. He is also presented an artist's talk for their campus community. |
Arts on Fire Industrial Arts Festival June 1 - 3, 2012
Keystone art students work with local high school students in the Keystone College Iron Works and ARTS Engage Program at the Arts on Fire Festival, a three day celebration of arts, heritage, industry and community.
The festival begins on Friday, June 1 with the Fire at the Furnace Fundraiser to support the Anthracite Heritage Museum and Iron Furnace Associates. The Friday evening portion of the celebration features a night time iron casting demonstration at 8 pm and Saturday will feature a second iron pour during the day. Participants are comprised of Keystone alumni as well as sculptor Vaughn Randall. Sunday will include a presentation with Keystone College faculty, Jared Jaffe.
