Student Teaching

Field ExperiencesThe Division of Education is dedicated to providing student teaching experiences under the supervision of college personnel and cooperating teachers who are well trained, highly qualified and who demonstrate competence in teaching and mentoring in the field of education.

The student teaching experiences are under the supervision of Keystone College personnel and cooperating teachers. They usually take place in two seven week periods.

Documentation Needed to Apply

The following documentation and information is needed before submitting the online student teaching application:

  1. All Praxis I or Pect scores
  2. Praxis II or PECT scores or verification that you have registered
  3. Letter of acceptance
  4. Transcript verification of overall GPA
  5. Evidence of membership in a professional organization for the year in which you will student teach
  6. Verification of First Aid/CPR
  7. Tuberculosis Screening Clearance
  8. Child Abuse History Clearance
  9. PA State Police Criminal Record Clearance
  10. Federal Criminal History & Fingerprinting Clearance
