Athletic Field and Track Complex

Athletic Track

Keystone College has marked another milestone in its progressive history with the installation of a $3.1 million synthetic all-weather athletic field and track. This athletic venue will bring direct benefit to the 600 plus students who participate in intercollegiate sports and intramurals, build school spirit and pride, and enhance the overall residential experience for our students.

The 360’ x 240’ field, with an eight lane track, is located above Ned Boehm Field and adjacent to Keystone’s Sugar Shack. The project also included refurbishment of a current high-use field, construction of a small storage building with restroom facilities, and enhancements to outdoor recreational opportunities offered within Keystone’s Woodlands Campus.

Student Benefits

The athletic field and track complex will allow the College to remain competitive with peer institutions and become a top choice institution for student-athletes across the state and beyond. The athletic hub will host:

In addition to offering students a superior venue for Division III competition and for intramural sports, the new facilities will:

Project Support

Thanks to the generous support of donors, this construction project is one in a series of capital improvements being completed to assure Keystone students have access to the best facilities possible. Other recent capital improvements include the $2.4 million renovation of the Hibbard Campus Center and the $1.2 million rejuvenation of Brooks Hall.

The Board of Trustees approved the construction of the new field and track project following the success of a capital fund raising initiative which began in October 2012. The College has raised more than $1.8 million in private funds as well as secured an investment from our business partner, Sodexo, to support this new facility. Many of the gifts were made in honor of Ned & Regina Boehm’s exceptional 18-year tenure as President and First Lady of Keystone College.
