The Class of 2021

This year’s freshman class will total approximately 325 students, an increase of about 20 percent from the freshmen class a year ago. Students will come from 17 states across the nation, including many from Northeastern Pennsylvania. Science majors such as biology and environmental science will be the most popular majors for members of the Class of 2021, followed by majors such as education, business, criminal justice, and psychology.

New Initiatives

All Keystone students will be able to take advantage of two innovations beginning in the new academic year. Keystone’s Student Central is a one-stop-shop for a variety of student services, including financial aid, the registrar’s office, and student accounts. Staffed by cross-trained professionals, Student Central streamlines the most needed student services in one location in Ward Hall. This provides a single point of reference for questions ranging from registering for classes, reviewing grades, financial aid and paying bills.

Also, students will be able to take advantage of the new Keystone College Tech Corner in Hibbard Campus Center. Tech Corner provides students with a convenient one-stop location to receive technical assistance for their college-issued iPads or other tech-related matters.

Both Student Central and the Tech Corner offer students the easy access they need to resolve important issues, giving them more time to spend on academic and extra-curricular activities.

Keystone offers more than 40 undergraduate and graduate degree options in liberal arts and science-based programs in business, communications, education, fine arts, natural science, environmental resource management, geology, and social sciences. Located 15 minutes from Scranton, Pa. and two hours from New York City and Philadelphia, Keystone is known for small class sizes and individual attention focused on student success through internships, research, and community involvement.
