Award-winning artist Richard Huck to lecture at Keystone – Keystone College

Award-winning artist and art educator Richard Huck will lecture at Keystone College on Thursday, March 5 from 2:15 – 3:15 in the Theatre in Brooks. The event, sponsored by Keystone’s Art Department, is free and open to the public.Mr. Huck will discuss his career in art education and what it means to be an artist. He was a high school art teacher in Ephrata, Pa. for 40 years before retiring in 2013. As an artist-illustrator, his work has been exhibited throughout the nation and abroad, including New York, Los Angeles, Paris, and Amsterdam, Australia, and Japan.

He is a signature status member of the Colored Pencil Society of America and his works have been published in numerous books and periodicals including, Art in America, the Artist’s Magazine, the Philadelphia Inquirer, and the Society of Illustrator’s Annual.
